All-Ireland Hurling Championship 2019***

That’s because somebody forgot to take them down. A click of the mouse most likely. A minor mistake in a tiny market. It’s one of the busiest weekends of the year in pp. I doubt anybody will notice in their trading roo… It happens day in day out in every sport on their website. I actually feel sorry for you if you think this is an advertising stunt. It’s nothing to do with my beloved industry. I’ve noticed it before and enquired as to why it happens. I’m not ignorant to the matter like yourself that comes out with sweeping statements about something you know nothing about.

Wow, it just gets more odious from you. Dont worry, PP will throw you another free 10e bet there for your loyalty.

@myboyblue

A few nerdy quants from the Indian subcontinent sitting in London setting the odds for Muldoon spud hockey .

That’s about the height of it. They’ve no idea who laois or tipp are and you’ve apes on here thinking its for advertising or for banter :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

PP has the lads dancing to his merry tune here. I’ve even clicked on his website meself.

This is very much a publicity stunt.

Paddy Aherne is their GAA Trader.

Because of last week’s mistake when they priced up the two games before round robin.

Are you serious?
They’ve got you good and proper,

So to get this straight, the famous computer program ‘forgot’ to take down the novelty patronizing bet but remembered to take down the others

I can confirm that PP have Irish lads doing up their stick stick market.

Laois will be coming off of a serious high and could well be facing into what Derek McGrath would call an “emotional ambush” Sunday.

I haven’t a clue how to call the other one. I’ve tipped Cork in the prediction league but I ticked that box without my usual conviction

Paul Rouse is an alright sort. He’s done some huge research on that.

No usually it would be some sort of risk managment girl sorting what markets stay and up and what don’t. It’s a computer programme that drafts the odds. That’s why within seconds of the final whistle blowing on Sunday the all ireland outright odds will adjust. They are all linked. For this system to work they have to price up every potential result/outcome so the odds can literally adjust at the click of the button by somebody that knows nothing about actual odds. He just punches in the result and the odds will adjust accordingly. It happens in horse racing with non runner no bet too with cash out options. It’s very simple.

Agreed. Cork could be anything.

This is gonna destroy some fellas on here. Paddys loyal devotees, the whole house of cards is gonna come crashing down.

Another free 10e bet should smooth it all over.

Wouldn’t outright betting be suspended for Cork and Kilkenny during Sunday’s game?

You appear to be in a flap now, you’ve resorted to name calling in previous posts, my point (which you took huge exception to) is that paddypower are very unfunny cunts, a corporation that trades in misery making sneery jokes at weaker counties in this case

There is plenty automation but their is certainly manual input too.

Team news on a Friday night can change the odds especially during the league and I heard a right good story about a certain high profile appeal before an all ireland semi final a couple of years ago changing the odds.

Because Anybody that knows anything knows it’s a simple mistake. People looking to get outraged by it then like that gimp Jamie wall. I don’t care what you think about paddy power good bad or different but if you think they are doing this stuff for publicity like wall claimed you are simple. Yes they’ll be suspended by the click of the button and the minute the games finish the results will be punched in and the odds adjust. Do you think on a Sunday evening in power towers there’s a heap of traders frantically drafting odds for these games? No there’s a Skelton staff keeping an eye on the in play markers. All the odds are linked. It isn’t one person deciding for the banter I’ll draft the Dublin v tipp odds. That isn’t funny. It’s a waste of time. They had the rugby World Cup 1/4 odds up for ages too and nobody said anything. It literally happens all the time.

My God, this is incredible :astonished:, you are deluded

Sunil and Rajeev reckon that Limerick will be hard bet this year. Prateek has a sneaking fancy for Wexford though.
