The Paddy Power guy on Parkinson’s podcast yesterday said they’d priced up the Laois semi final. 100% a publicity stunt. They were going on about the tenner free bets they were offering people who had backed Laois.

Lots of rumours our of KK that Eoin Cody is going to start. This stunt has been pulled before with Walter in 2012, Blanchfield in 16 and Billy Ryan last year.

Dont think it will happen as Eoin Cody wasnt on the panel up to a week ago. The 3 named above were all on the panel at the time but hadn’t featured on a match day squad up to the game they started.

Just listening to the GAA Postcast there on the racing post and the lad from Powers says they’re just “having a bit of craic” by pricing up Wexford vs Laois after their mistake the last day.

Yeah, it definitely wasn’t something triggered by a computer programme. They know exactly what they’re at and that it will generate publicity.

I wouldn’t rule anything out. It was done last year with disastrous consequences but E Cody would be a fair handfull especially surrounded by his club team mates

Think this Eoin Cody rumour started when the hurling tactics / trends / analysis twitter account @SheikhBarabas posted up a potential line up in graphic format and included Cody.
