Slightly better than the first half of the first game, I would say.

Wexford might regret not being ahead as Clare have been poor. I know Clare have missed a lot of chances but you’d fancy them to kick on in the second half, especially with ROC gone. Wexford probably need to capitalise on Clare playing so poorly, have coughed up some handy scores from mishandling.

The loss of ROC is massive, he’s just another forward who can actually make the ball stick and get away from a defender.

Loose enough stuff. Will suit Wexford so far. Clare looked to be well on top for the last 15 mins of that half but did little to hurt Wexford.
Chance for Wexford to regroup. Clare surely won’t be as wasteful second half.

Taylor hasn’t been in the game today, although Ian Galvin has done more than he did either day against Limerick.

Paul Flanagan sweeping up a lot of ball at the back. Diarmuid Ryan & Conlon doing well too. Clare need to get Kelly on the ball more.

For Wexford, Oisin Foley has been good, as has McGovern. Both Recks too. Mikie Dwyer quiet, McDonald peripheral, great goal from Jack O’Connor but you’d love to see him take on defenders even more. Is Kevin Foley playing?
