Jackie thinking Antrim were going to be playing Wexford there for a second until Joanne corrected him. Antrim would have troubled Wexford. They have a good record against us, less so against Cork. Seem to remember Cork annihilating them in 2004 after they’d given us an awful fright in 2003.
Thats one of those things that a lot of analysts and commentators make when teams face one another. Yet games in 03 and 04 have probably little or no relevance to anything that happens now. I dont disagree with your or Jackies point, Antrim would certainly trouble Wexford but thats because Wexford are woefully inconsistent and Westmeath have shown that they can be got at even if being rank outsiders. Have we ever played them in Senior championship before? Novel match up regardless.

Can’t remember playing Kerry in championship but do remember a televised game in the league against them on TG4 back in 2016. Antrim beat us a couple of times up there in the league over the years too. Suppose the draw last season between the sides would be a more relevant example alright.

Wexford will beat Kerry by one point with a last minute goal deflected off the arse of a Kerry player.
Then they will turn around and beat Clare and Galway before losing the All-Ireland final to Limerick by 32 points.
