Stop implying that cunt is from Tipperary, ffs
That man wasnât so much shrewd as taking you a numbskull
Shit on your shoe?
I never met anybody with an attitude like that to any team, what right does a supporter have to hold that type of view anyway? Baffling.
Would thinking like that make winning sweeter?
Itâs bizarre
Heâs on the covid payment
Itâs strange the way things kind of sync up in bizarre coincidences. Been thinking bout this one for the past 24 hours or so and wasnât sure where to post, or if I should post.
A neighbour of ours passed away on the eve of Limerick winning the All Ireland in 18. Heâd a long battle with cancer, and it was no surprise when he passed. Bar farming, machinery, pints, and maybe a trip to the ploughing, his only real interest was in hurling. His wife was from Limerick originally. He was probably in early 60s.
His brother, a bachelor, is a decent sort. He didnât do well out of inheritance etc. (wonât go into it) so was living in the parents old house across from the brother. The house is not in good nick (no central heating etc.). My father is always getting him to do jobs, I think more so that the father can give him a few pounds. Taking bullocks to the mart, firing out fodder if the father is gone, that sort of thing. Anyway, this chap collapsed Saturday evening, again on the eve of Limerick winning an All Ireland. His nephew (the son of the brother who died) found him by the tractor. The father rang me yesterday a few times, which is unusual, to let me know. He was fairly shook up by it. The neighbour is on life support. They were surprised he made it through Saturday night but itâll be only a matter of time.
Anyway, probably not the best place to post it, but it does have that weird connection to Limerick winning all Irelands
Have to agree with Ger Loughnane. Crap championship topped off by a crap final.
It wasnât a marquee year but it was better than nothing. A summer championship might have yielded better games, but the same outcome.
And in fairness to Limerick, they bate everything put in front of them with relative ease (with exception of Galway).
At the end of the day though, Richie English has two all Ireland medals. His cousin Darragh Fitzgibbon has⌠fuck all
Yeah, yeah whatever harry, crawl back under your rock now. Get ready for the wiltshire delivery tomorrow. The highlight of your day
I was listening to Daloâs podcast earlier, they at least had the âballsâ to discuss Morrisseyâs strike on Gleeson and they all agreed that Horgan had a very poor game against Waterford, and addressed a number of really poor refereeing calls early in the game, so that was good to see hurling experts could see what was obvious.
Interestingly they also discussed Limericks âswarmâ tackling and the influence football coaching and Munster rugby has had on how Limerick play, I think I referenced this yesterday and was abused.
You might be in for another lash after that post
Youâre an alright sort kid
I loves hurling and I loves me county Mike
Youâd swear we invented it. Thatâs the way itâs been for years. KK were the masters at it
Youâd have to say Munster rugby won Limerick the All Ireland
Please the gods theyâll win us 5 more.
