Tipperary were a well beaten side in 2013 and 2014 replay regardless of a final losing margin of 3 points. Cody is inside Tipperary heads and has been for a long time. Deep down Tipperary fellows donât believe they can beat Kilkenny. Throw in as well the 4 league final wins from 4 that Kilkenny have over Tipperary in that timeframe as well.
Galway are hot and cold but they are the county that have caused Cody most angst during his long tenure. I strongly suspect Galway were holding back in Leinster Final. They showed their hand too early in 2012 in the Leinster Final. If you end up playing Kilkenny three times in the championship, youâll be caught out in the end.
Its great as a Tipperary man that you have such faith in your team and that you still have the mindset of the eternal optimist that they could overturn Kilkenny in this yearâs final. Such optimism is in short supply outside of the confines of Tipperary.

Everyone on this thread like myself is hoping for a shootout and a proper hurling championship game which we havenât got this year yet, If it is a shootout Iâd have to go with Tipp as their backs are better
