All Ireland semi finals hurling 2017

The Galway boys are shitting themselves already

Yeah right. I ambled up to Gill’s at 4:50pm for the Clare v Cork replay in 2013 and had a ticket in my hand within two minutes.

Did you do the same for the drawn match?

I didn’t bother attending the drawn match and watched it on television.

However, if it helps you, I sourced a face value ticket for the 2010 All-Ireland football final between Cork and Down within three minutes of arriving on Dorset Street and I imagine demand for tickets for that was superior than for the Clare-Cork drawn hurling final in 2013.

I would say 70k for Cork - Waherfud is somewhat ambitious.

The first game drawn was Galway v Tipp.

Any reason why you didn’t wander down and source a ticket for the drawn match?

That’s reassuring to hear.

I turned on my radio at the exact moment when the Cork ball was being drawn out of the bowl.

Darren Frehill sounded very confused as to which team would be drawn to play them, which makes it even better.

Will ye beat cork chief

Is this the hurling inquisition?

It’s about a 45-50 minute journey via public transport/walking from where I was living to the vicinity of Croke Park, and I didn’t feel bothered enough to make that journey on that particular day and was happy enough to watch on the television.

Galway and Cork to win their respective semi-finals.

Ok so it was easier to get there on a Saturday afternoon than a Sunday morning? Gotcha.

It possibly is slightly easier to travel via public transport on a Saturday afternoon than it is on a Sunday morning, but then again the drawn final was on a Sunday afternoon, rather than a Sunday morning, and it’s pretty much equidifficult, or equieasy, if you prefer, to get to Croke Park on a Sunday afternoon as it is on a Saturday afternoon.

:joy:

Where are you going with this cross examination, mate?

Ah feck it now you’ve ruined his train of thought.

The galway boys are bulking up on Supermacs as we speak. They will hammer into the Tipp cunts.

I have found it difficult enough to get a ticket for any All-Ireland final Galway have been in that didn’t include Kilkenny. I imagined it would be the same for any other county. @Sidney y attempted to disprove this by using anectdotal evidence of getting a ticket for a replay. I was just wondering why he toddled down for the replay but not the drawn match.

This is a discussion about your county being involved in an All-Ireland final. As usual you don’t know what you’re talking about so run along please.
