In the west, Mayo will travel to New York and Galway will head for Ruislip.

From a Leitrim point of view, we will have home advantage if we draw Mayo, Galway or Sligo.

We will have to travel to the Hyde if it’s the Rossies.

Wexford will draw Carlow and play Dublin the semi final before defeating Westmeath in the provincial decider.

This will be despite the distraction caused by Adrian Flynn angling for a move to join his former mentor Jason Ryan in the Kildare set up.

There is no reason for Dublin to get home advantage in the opening round of 2014. It is an ideal opportunity to take them on the road.

There was such a big deal made of the Dubs travelling all the way to a remote place like Longford a few years ago there’s no way they’ll be forced to travel again anytime soon.

You couldn’t bring the Dubs anywhere in Leinster, the only venue capable of possibly holding the crowd would be portlaoise and we’ve seen plenty of times they don’t have the stewarding to deal with big crowds.
