2 things. Mayo were much worse defensively yesterday than the first day. Gave away a load of scoring frees and were happy to drag fellas down all day. For some reason deegan thought this was fine in terms of cards while he was booking Dublin lads for similar. McMenamanamon was raped repeatedly in the first half by lads in order to stop his runs.
Without Keegan and Vaughan they went to shit a bit defensively. Brogan and costelloes 3 points were all marauding raids they would normally have swallowed up.
Clear as day on TV maybe. Ref doesn’t have that luxury. Even As a spectator in the ground we miss lots of stuff. Game looks different on TV.

Think we all agree the ref can only do so much and was probably as good as he could be. Linesman reslonsible in this case.
Small very unlucky to have got a yellow.COC dragged him to ground and he gets booked for freeing himself. He shouldnt have got a black card earlier as the free was for the initial foul.
Worse thing that happened was the assault on Cooper after Mayos goal. Disgusting

That’s 100% true mate, to be honest I almost never criticise refs and don’t think Deegan deserves it in this case, it was a tough enough call.
However because we have the luxury of tv it’s frankly ridiculous that anybody would suggest that there was two of them at it (we still talking about Small and COC?)
