Ok.so its gone from s punch to an elbow. The backtrack has begun guys. Give it 45 mins and we will all be on the same page
Haymaker thrown at the end lad, straight red
The error from the referee there was not giving O’Connor a yellow card too.
The children of the forum are describing the incident where Small pulled his arm free as a punch. He wasn’t anywhere near connecting with O’Connor. But it was an attempted strike they’ll say. No, he was pulling his arm free.
Your a bean counter as well i take it
That Mayo selector in the hat actually deserved a punch yesterday.
It was self defense pal, that Muldoon was asking for it. We’ve seen what these savage bastards can do, see Johnny Cooper, and Diarmuid was taking no chances with this dirtbag.
Small should have been black carded for his trip on Andy Moran
His actions before half-time merited a straight red - so he should have been off either way.
Six things Deegan did screwed Mayo.
I) The Small non-black card.
ii) The Keegan black card. Keegan pulled Connolly and then had his arm around his neck. It was an obvious foul, but it wasn’t a pull down. Connolly deliberately went to ground.
iii) McCarthy’s hit on Vaughan - Tony Davis was sent off in an All-Ireland final for a lot less.
iv)The Small non-sending-off before half-time.
v) James McCarthy pushed Kevin McLoughlin when it was 1-12 to 1-11. A definite free not given and it would have been a gimme to level up the game.
vi) Bernard Brogan should also have been black carded late on.
You’d swear that never happened as none of the Muldoons on here have mentioned it. Instead you have clowns fanaticising about a phantom punch from John Small.
Nice to see somebody on here who actually watched the game yesterday
Aidan O’Shea was nowhere to be seen in the last few minutes. Well I did see him languishing back on his own 45 while Mayo were attacking, but he was nowhere to be seen in terms of having an attacking influence.
Seamus O’Shea had a decent game.
Patrick Durcan was Mayo’s best player and probably the best on either team.
10 things Deegan did to help Mayo-- give them 10 soft frees in front of the sticks. Thankfully COC is a huge bottle merchant and missed the most important one.
The free for their last point was soft but the rest were all frees.
Write in English, please.
That’s a little bit one sided methinks @sidney. I hope you’re busy compiling a list of things he did to help mayo too.
Compile them yourself, pal. You’ve watched the game, haven’t you? So it should be easy.
Done.
I dont think half the posters on here have watched it,doesnt stop them commenting on it though
I forgot to add the blatant foot trip by Vaughan on Connolly after Connolly shouldered him. Correct call black card Vaughan. Actual outcome yellow card apiece. It’s at 1.25 on the video. Mayo are filth.
Play had stopped i think
