He did
They played a Clare second string in Gort last week for a pitch opening.
They play again some night this week. Assume both will be full strength as it is probably both sides last game before championship
Odds?
On a side note, I was in Clare today and saw a bit of a Junior A match. Completely different game to Junior A in Cork. Not so much which is better/worse, just completely different styles, age profiles, size of players etc.

Which county had the lower age profile and fitter players out of interest? Presumably Cork? Junior in Clare would be very weak.
Why?

15/2
Kilkenny 11/4
Tipp 3/1
Cork 13/2
Clare 15/2
Limerick 10/1
Waterford 14/1
Galway 14/1
Dublin 16/1
Wexford 25/1
They’re very talented and have been there and done it before. Kilkenny are too short for a team in transition. Tipp have probably the best set of forwards but are too flaky and will shit themselves again if they meet KK along the way. Cork should not be shorter odds than Clare imo. Limerick are Limerick. Mahony’s injury has ended Waterford’s hopes. Galway could take out a big rival but they won’t take out 2 or 3 of them. Dublin lack a killer instinct / bottle to win an AI. Wexford, with the greatest of respect to the Wexicans on here aren’t good enough and to be honest should be twice their current price.
I was cycling the last day with the head of the sale sharks S&C. He says that they are using cryotherapy routinely for everyone after games. 2mins at -120. He says it seems to work on a hormonal/physiological level rather than as an anti inflammatory, that the players all say they recover better after games, they sleep better, and as an aside, it makes them horny. Make of it what you will.

Did the odds on Waterford drift significantly after the injury?

Not sure - only looked at the odds last night so don’t know what they were previously
Morning, pal. I’ve been on the Clare bet for a couple of weeks already - see GAA Betting 2015 thread. It’s the definite value bet alright.
Went from 15/2 out to 10s overnight with pp. Had been 14s before the league final
Mahony is a brilliant free taker. Who’ll take them in his absence?
Dublin and Waterford look like good back to lay bets. Can’t see either going all the way but their first two games are very winnable and odds will shorten
Squad is full of reasonable free takers. Maurice, Jake Dillon, Stephen Bennett. Jamie Barron. Wild card might be Patrick Curran, if he comes onto the panel now.

Will they all take turns? Will they give Gleeson a go?
Yes they’ll all take turns.
Ah here.
How will they decide the order?
