Hard to know. I think that the likes of David McInerney, Tony Kelly and Shane O’Donnell have all improved since 2013 and are as good as anything in the country now in their respective positions and i think we have decent depth in the forwards with the likes of Tots, Reidy, Peter & Bobby Duggan, Honan and Cunningham in reserve but midfield is weak and Davy is doing his best to accommodate all three of Colin Ryan, Bugler and Donellan when we can only really afford to play one of them in the middle third and it really effects the balance of the team.
Team and tactics will need to evolve as the year goes on and the likes of Bobby Duggan and Cleary brought into the starting 15 if we are to do anything. But a couple of relatively minor tweaks and a win or two and they will be a tough team to stop
I heard we picked up a few injuries alright. Didn’t hear names.
Only last month he had a procedure down on one of his hands following a bad finger break.
My sources** are telling me Pat O’Connor left Cannings hand needing 12 stitches in an unsavory incident.
There is a shortage of top tier centre-backs at the moment, I’d say if Liam Rushe was playing there, he’d probably be the best.
Ellis got the All-Star last year and it was probably deserved but he’s hardly top class.
Agree on Ellis. But Rushe has done nothing to merit that statement.
A brilliant hurler, not sure about a brilliant no. 6 though.

He was really good in 2013. He was utterly dominant against Kilkenny both days and was very good in Leinster final. One of the keys to Cork beating them in the semis was Pa Cronin cleverly barging him under high ball all day to deny him possesion. Dalo was seething about this afterwards.
