Finding a place for brick, who can barely hit the ball properly, at half forward was a poor move. They have completely given up since Tipp got the second goal which is a poor reflection of the character of the team. Their play so far this half is like that of a 3rd division team. They’re 20 points behind now and in truth could be 6-7 more.

The simplicity of Tipps tactics to dismantle Waterfords tactics and play to their own strengths is very impressive.
They, from a tv view anyway, have just largely by-passed the middle 1/3rd. They have loaded their players to either end of the field. And then they are very good in the air as well and have a few really excellent forwards.
Tipp starting to show the undeniable talent now.
