Don’t know mate I didn’t catch it. A great occasion for one of Limerick’s main satellite towns.
Shane O’Neill to be MOTM
Aye, they were outside O Sheas
Have Clare named their team yet?
The final is on tommorow

same 15 as semi final
Cork to win and win well. Cant believe the way people are tipping Clare. Clare have beaten Wexford, Galway and Limerick to get to a final, all shit teams to be fair. Gonna sky plus the sour puss on Davy when the final whistle goes.
Here, go fuck yourself you cunt
We did have to play 15 v15 unlike the cork lads with the 16 against 14 games they played.
True, but they did well to stay competitive with only the 14 men against Limerick.
The more I think about it the more I think Cork will win. Cork have a huge advantage in seeing Clare’s hand pretty much fully before the game. Limerick did to some extent but didn’t reckon on Kelly being stuck on O’Grady, I’m not sure Clare will produce anything Cork won’t be prepared for. I’m sure they will approach dealing with Clare better than both Galway and Limerick did:
Man mark Collins who has almost had the run of the field all year. Let a midfielder with enough pace to keep up with him pick Kelly up -Cork have two mids that can could do this. Honan and McGrath will still be stuck in a two man inside line with an extra defender somewhere in front of them which limits them. They will still have a big impact no doubt but that’s Clare’s 4 most dangerous attackers curbed to some extent. Conlon though could be a man to make a big impact yet, he’s been limited all year by taking some massive hits early in games.
Also, Cork are better equipped to nullify Clare’s tactics. Limerick had success in the second half hitting short puck outs and working the ball up the wing, Cork will do this more naturally and better than Limerick did. In fact it’s part of their game anyway and suits their tactic of shooting for points from outside. Clare have also had the benefit of misfiring freetakers on the opposition in their last two games and either game could have had a different complexion had the frees been put over, I don’t see Cork wasting their frees.
I’ll be cheering Clare, but think Cork will win.
They won the fucking games. Get over it. They’ll probably win tomorrow an you’ll have some excuse.
Anyway I hope it a brilliant game and Cork pull away near the end. I’m confident now both these things will happen.
Credit where it is due, Davy has got this team playing his way (a good way) and he has improved them. That’s all you can ask really. He’s still an awful dipshit and is an ignorant little shit, but my respect for him as a coach has grown. Proof is in the pudding you could say.

A neighbour coaches under 8s or so in a club in Limerick and knows Davy through work. When he mentioned coaching the kids Davy said brilliant you’ll have to get me down to do a training with them. Neighbour didn’t think much more about it presuming Fitz was just being polite until the next time he was talking to Davy again and Davy says you never got in touch about coming down with you for a training session, let me know when I can come down. No question of money just offering his time. Davy is stone nuts but definitely an alright sort.
I’d love Davy in the Limerick job. A thoroughly alright sort.
Davy is a decent chap. He’s a pain in the hole to listen to in the media but away from that I’d say he’s a nice little man.
Why anyone would consider money in such situations is half the problem (not for a minute suggesting Davy would).
I think he over does the sideline stuff and is overly ignorant to the media in match day. I think he can be thrown on the day.
But he ha done a top job this year, that’s is beyond argument.
We were also winning both games when the man was sent off.
Cork won’t lose this. 4 or 5 points.
What does Davy work at?
Owns a pub no?
Years ago Mount Sion beat Sixmilebridge in the Munster final in Thurles. Fucking awful winters day. Sleet and wind. When the cup was presented all the smb players had gone back to the dressing room and you couldn’t fault them. Except one. Davy. Davy was standing out in the middle of pitch on his own clapping Mount Sion. He really is an alright sort.
