You free on the 10th for a quick discussion on the hammering and maybe a quick catch up on each of the 4 KK goals so?
Actually, hold off until the 13th I might be coherant by then.
no, i am abroad, not to worry in any case, i wont go down the i told you so road, i’d love galway to win
we’ll leave it at that so. enjoy the break.
ok titch
the way this has turned you should probably go with him
Not really, I just think that Glynns distribution could lend itself well to the likes of David Burkes runs through the centre. I wouldn’t be sacrificing Niall Burke for this but Conor Cooney and James Regan could be at risk alright.

glennon is the player that needs to get selected.
glynn is just more of the same. glennon has a bit of pace that galway are lacking up front
regan wont be playing anyway as donnellan will take his place so cooney is the one in danger
massive display from kilkenny.
they are a good solid under 21 team from 1 to 12 but the full forward line pushes them to a different level.
aylward is a player that could make a big difference to the senior side. his physique and pace are something different to what kilkenny currently have inside. he is very like hogan but significantly quicker
walsh is good but i wonder if his size is giving him a bit extra at under 21 that he wont have at senior. his wrong hand on top could become a bigger issue when he can`t bulldoze through lads
in fairness it has not hindered fogarty
in killian ryan we probably have a player to match aylwards pace and mcinerney should be a match for power as he is strong and has plenty of speed but walsh on flanagan will require a big performance. flanagan physically is fairly similar to galways number 2 and he was not able to cope with walsh. on the other hand he never went out in front of walsh either saturday which is a poor way of playing him
th
ats the area that will decide the outcome i feel.
if we can stop kilkenny scoring goals as the 2009 team did then we will be in business but thats easier said then done.
the kilkenny full back line looked vulnerable enough when they had to deal with pressure. lots of strength and drive but a good bit of fumbling and a lot of mis hit clearances that were topped and hit out over the sideline.
really looking forward to this game. our players are going to be facing a level of hit that they have not experienced to date. if they can handle that and get running at the kilkenny defence we have much quicker players than galway around the middle galvin kelly collins cunningham and morey are very difficult to get back at once they get moving.
i would be confident that conor mcgrath in top form will cause phelan a lot of problems but conor mcgrath not gathering the ball first time and taking ball in to contact will be dispossessed easily as phelan is very powerful.
we will have to be on top in the middle third maybe even forcing walsh and power be switched out to the half forward line to win because i dont think any full back line will stop that full forward line scoring if the flow of ball is good quality and regular.
