All-Ireland U-21 2013

Should have been a red alright, cowardly stuff. Rob O’Shea has been excellent for Cork

Some point from the Tipp no. 12 O’Meara to stop the rot for now.

And Tipp have just upped it again to stretch the lead back to six.

Tipp cunts.

It is game over now, surely.

Tipp’s no. 20 points while on his knees.

Hartnett’s touch has been very poor throughout

That was never a penalty.

Looks small too. Thought he could have doubled on that one, was a loopy handpass.

Antrim 1-16 Down 1-9. Midway through the second half.

Presume Clare will be strong favourites to beat Waterford? Tipp v Clare would be in Thurles as well, I also presume?

Derry 2-11 Armagh 0-11.

Looking like an Antrim-Derry final for the right to face Leinster champions Wexford in the de facto All Ireland final.

A workrate from this Tipp team that was sadly lacking with the Seniors.
Half-back line well on top. O’Meara and Forde winning ball in the half-forward line.
Seem to be very well coached by Ken Hogan.

Clare are 2/5 with the bookies but we will earn it down there. Waterford haven’t lost too many underage games down there in recent years. Final will be in Thurles if Clare win alright

That’s some beating all the same. Is the Cork team really that poor?

Right, The Apprentice final it is then.

They are great in the air, they’ve won ball all night both ends of the field.

Nothing spectacular about them but Hogan has them working as a team. Really impressed, other than a switch off for 5 minutes either side of half time.

Waterford won’t be a push over, nice sprinkling of Senior Hurlers in their ranks. Is it in Dungarvan or Walsh Park?

Walsh Park, or the Sportsfield as the natives call it.
