All-Ireland U-21 2013

He might get a reprieve here…

The standard on display here is pretty dreadful for an AI semi final.

Dive.

Dive.

FFS.

Oh no, he has missed it.

Strange finish all round.

Would agree. Cavan are poor and could easily win.

Thought cavan might have sneaked a draw. Hurley was lively enough for Cork. Cahalane is a simpleton and gave away some obvious silly frees.

If Cavan had somehow managed to win that I would have expected Galway to beat them easily in the final, I expect Cork have a lot more scope for improvement and it should be an even enough final.

Bringing the guy back on to take the free at the death…

Left footed kicker and great move if he slots it over from the right…

But when it goes it awry…

He will be haunted and taunted over that for years. The poor bastard.

Has that cork cunt, Cryil, nothing to be doing??

Ya, the Kerry 21 team play a far more attractive brand of football, pity they weren’t there.

A silver lining, fuck Kildare an all that rode in on her.

Yet another, all singing, all dancing, lilywhite bandwagon, brought to a shuddering halt by the Galway boys!

Fuckin cocky cunts had it won in their own heads.

galway,
footballers playing football ie propelling the ball with their foot

Was on the road all day and only catching up now. well done to our young guns. I have been hearing good things about Walsh from my in laws in North Galway over past few years… seems to be coming of age.

Gilroy sounded pretty depressed on NT on my way down the N6… brought a smile to my face.

Walsh was very good again, he has bags of talent but would like to see a bit more urgency in his game at times. The real star of the show today was Sean Moran from Claregalway. I saw this fella playing in the minor semi final V Dublin in 2010 and I was highly impressed with him, in fact they were on their way to winning that game until he had to retire injured going in to the closing stages. He scored 1-1 today and must have laid another 1-2 or 1-3. He’s a classic centre forward my opinion, and reminds me very much of Ja at times.
