Carnmores Donie Fox starts at midfield for dublin. Not sure how really. If he turns into a success after falling through the net a few times in galway it’ll be a head scratcher.

I doubt that’s the way they’ll line up

But we are often told that Cody doesn’t do dummy teams

It’s the first round of the league, I wouldn’t be getting too worked up about it

Next thing we know he will be using tactics. Quite the change in kilkenny

We’re in rapid decline, he has to try something

Cody has the Clare crowd rattled already and it’s only February

No he has not. He has ye rattled to

Will be goals in that game.

Cork don’t get goals, Clare will probably have two forwards or some shite. Miracle if there is a shot on target.

Clare will play with Shanagher and O’Donnell very close to goal and will look to go direct to them at times. Reidy and podge will play as link men with Podge dropping deep to midfield at times and Reidy drifting into space between the half and full forward lines. Conlon and Malone will play as orthodox wing forwards and Conlon may well spend time at full forward.

The new Clare management like to have a fluid enough forward line but have no real history of playing with a sweeper or extra defenders.

Tipp very rusty here so far. Completely opened up there a couple of minutes ago only for the Dublin forward to fuck up a simple handpass

Tipp beginning to impose themselves on the game now

Have Dublin the breeze here? Not great conditions for scoring.

They do by the looks of it
