Allianz Hurling League 2017 Division 1A Thread

Dublin recognized that Cork were fairly one dimensional v Clare. Quick puck outs to space and then a low ball to Cadogan. These were countered and Cork were shown to be devoid of anything else.

The keeper was superb mate, he kept the score down.

for sure, and they didn’t have to plan much as o donnel seems to have cadogans number, they couldn’t have expected cork to lie down so easily though, corks heads weren’t right. big buoyant cork crowd brought back down to earth fairly rapid.

Typical Cork arrogance at play, they fully expected to hockey Dublin.

They did but this overconfidence and unpredictable results are common in the league every year. Dublin always seem to take a hiding early only to give it back a week later, kilkenny lose games to anyone etc. No bearing on the real deal.

Galway were well hammered by Dublin in exactly the same fashion this time last year.

Dublin are usually are hard task in the nell early on, like us in the shtadium. Matters fuck all really. Saying that we’d want to be winning today and not fluting around in the nether regions.

Nash had a mixed day. A few blinding saves but he also had at least 3 short puck outs intercepted and sent back over his cross bar.

Harnedy looks like a different player to couple of years ago.

At least we know how bad we are cork are like @ChocolateMice getting excited after a win

Walsh Park = Bog.

Fine crowd here.

Weather doesn’t look too bad either.

Are the Blaa’s foaming at the mouth?

Should be a good atmosphere

Clare 1-1 to the good

1-2 to no score. Shanagher with 2 points and set up the goal for Cunningham.

1-3 now. Reidy with the free
