Make him eat his words
Tis only a league semi TBH . Hayesâ point will still hold regardless of the result .
If anything his comments lump the pressure on Galway
There is pressure on Galway to win the All Ireland this year .
Well there you go. I remember a similar type interview was broadcast with Babs the day before the 02 Munster Final.
While this is obviously not as important as a Munster Final, Iâm sure his comments have been duly noted in both counties and weâll see from here.
Anyway Galway should be playing at close enough to championship pace. They have no competitive game until the Leinster final
Ladies, Ladies, LadiesâŚnobody is wound up about Hayes comments today. He is correct, Galway are ahead of Limerick and should be beating them. No issues with that.
However⌠This is Damien Hayes second series of observations on Limerick in a matter of weeks and I have more of an issue with his previous comments, the gist of which were that Limerick players have never stepped up. He may be correct, however I find that hard to listen to from a Galway player who played on a Galway team that consistently under achieved and shat the bed when they had their chances. That is all.
Regarding my observations on him being a âgreatâ player⌠On reflection I was being too kind, he was a very good hurler. In my defence he probably was the best club hurler in the country for a good spell and that counts for the something in my eyes.
Regarding my point on many of the Limerick players having won the same accolades as he did, the point stands. Dowling has everything he has won except the League Titles, Hayes just has more of them. But Dowling is still playing and could certainly add more county, provincial and national club titles with Na Piarsaigh
Rattled.
Well played Damien.
Donât worry pal, heâll lick your arse on 3/4 other threads with likes to make up for it.
Ooooooofffffftttttt
Harry doesnât lick my arse due to the fact Iâm a top top poster. He fucking hates that.
I can imagine Kiely pinning that article up on the dressing room wall in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday, and none of the players able to read it as the county board hadnât the lights turned on again.
Galway by 9 pal
Galway 2-23 Limerick 1-21
The second part of your last sentence could be superfluous .
My hole, I wouldnât put it past Limerick to win.
Nah man, Galway by 9 if not more. We wonât keep it pucked out to that Galway side
Hahahaha
Itâs the league guys. calm down.
Awful shame you wonât make it pal.
