Ah stop! Hayes took 7 or 8 steps at best. Moloney fouling him as the ball came in, and again once he got possession. Ref used common sense and we were treated to a peach of a goal.

No League alright, and granted Hayes has won more of the above accolades but Dowling is still playing, but the point stands that some of the Limerick players he is talking about have the same medals as he has and only half way through their careers. Hayes was a great player but his comments on Limerick players essentially not having the bottle to step up are ironic to say the least.
A lot of people getting very wound up over what a fella from the 8th best county in the country is saying about the 9th best county in the country*
