Must be galling for the lads who wrote essays about robots and manufactured hurlers during half time of the 2021 Munster Final to see that.
According to this, Patrick Fitz will be back for the first round.
As will Prunty, Kiely, Kevin Mahony & Carthach Daly.
Everyone bar Gleeson. But if Fitz in particular is fit & available, that’d be a nice boost.
Do you get a good echo from the trombone?
Waterford if full could take anyone on their day. They are stacked with talent.
I think people are underestimating the loss of Callum Lyons. I still fancy them to beat Clare in Waterford and they have a good record recently v Tipp. That will likely do them.
Almost.
What was the name of that hurling tournament played before the league years ago?
I remember going to a final between Limerick and Kilkenny in Bruff. Probably mid 80s
The Oireachtas?
Sound. That rings a bell alright.

Fairly sure thats it, remember going to a few games myself
Kept going up to 1999.
I’d never have guessed that.
Yeah thought long gone by then
I did

This man fucks!!
Collins did alright in penalties to win a Munster a few months later.
Of all the back tracking you could do, you picked a nawful bad one to dig up.
Ye’ll always have that penalty shoot out.
Sunday was a massive failure but winning the league and Munster shouldn’t be forgotten too quickly.
I wouldn’t be a fan of Collins generally but he shouldnt be the scapegoat for Sunday either.
The first goal is a split second decision that he gets wrong, but his full back line didnt exactly help him either reacting to the break. Compare that to Doyle reading the ball coming back off the post when Shelly was gone looking for another ball to puckout.
The third goal too, O’Donoghue has got to hold McGrath outside him and allow Collins collect the ball unimpeded.
A SOKI type goalkeeper doesn’t let goals one and three in. Arguably a SOKI saves the penalty. It was a nice height for a keeper. The puckouts went completely awry too. Plus he is the man best placed to slow the fucking thing down, take a knee, do a Nicky Quaid. But no he just kept booming the ball down on top of a dominant Tipp half back line as quick as he could and it was coming back in over his head as quick as he was pucking it out. I’d hold him severely but not solely culpable.
