Our two goalkeepers, one can kick Rory Beggan type frees and the other is an ace on kickoutsā¦but are a horror show when they try soloing out the field. I think if teams are going to go down this fly goalkeeper route, they need to experiment with re-training intercounty standard outfield players to be netminders as opposed to club standard outfield players to be intercounty goalkeepers. Probably not an easy thing to do.

Derry should try win the League then get knocked out early in Ulster to give themselves a breather before the serious business.

The scoreline flattened tyrone there today. Derry could have easily had a few more goalsā¦and mcguigan actually missed a couple of easy points. They need to learn to twist the knife if theyāre going to beat the likes of joe mcquillan in croke park
