Allianz National Football League 2026

Galways decision not to tackle two weeks in a row is a bold strategy

Jesus Gleeson :man_facepalming:t2:

It has gotten dramatically worse for Poacher’s boys let me tell you.

It’s reached Poacher Out time and the sooner the better.

Gleeson kicks it out to the playter who is being subbed off and is walking off the pitch.

The feeling on the Aer Lingus transatlantic is Donegal by 4

Butchered two 2 v 1’s against the keeper because of crap hand passes.

Simple handpass inside to McHugh would have done Flaherty there

There’s a real skill to accurate hand passing. Kerry are great at it. So are Donegal. Hand passes that force the player to stop, kill attacking momentum and moves.

Number 20 that butchered that chance, he was woefully slow running forward.

Motherfucker

Some amount of late Donegal hits in this move :joy::joy:

Galway’s efforts at trying to manage a game saw last years championship finish early for them and the signs today are they haven’t improved much at it.

All to play for in the big one. Down are all but up. Fermanagh all but down.

Games remaining before this weekend

6 points up. A man up. You’ve got to see out that game from there. Had 3 good goal chances in the second half as well and made a complete mess of the first two. While Mulhern fisted the last one over the bar. But it left Donegal with the chance to equalise with a 2 pointer.

Galway are going nowhere fast under Joyce. They’ve become an utterly frustrating team to watch…If they got a proper manager in there he could still make something of the current bunch, but time is running out I fear.

@Massey the Carlow tie up begins.

There should he an inquest into that Roscommon performance

Considering the players they are missing they have a lot of things going for them. Down 4 starting forwards today and nearly all of them are All-Stars. Just seem to have a self destructive streak in games where they cough up cheap scores or don’t take their chances.

The fade outs have never been addressed. Once a team gets a run on them they fold like cheap tent.

Derry will win division 2 on points difference at this rate.
