Allianz National Hurling League 2023

Made a few tweaks at half time which worked and is a good sign of the management

He is a fine hurler and a huge physical presence. I think there are games and teams that would suit him but you would think he is a chap who teams will target if he had to start a number of games. I think @aristotle said he just lacks recovery pace but he looked fairly slow going both ways tonight - Cork very much looked to press and close him down second half with a bit of success

Hard to look past cork now they are real deal

He did well in fairness. Their tackle rate or count must have been very high and disciplined too. 2 or 3 fellas to the breaking ball. They were a bit aimless in distribution a few times. Maybe Niall OLeary and Downey guilty at times but better lorrying it down when in doubt than concede goals like they did in championship to Limerick last year. Brian O Sullivan went well midfield too. Got in a ton of work.

9-1, fill your boots :+1:

He might be worth a look at half forward or something. But he is a puckout target for opponents all day long

They thought Downey eile was the answer too for a while

He was never the answer.

Ben O Connor on the panel or Ben Cunningham?

In what

A good auld game to be fair. Great to have it back. Hope Robbie O’Flynn isn’t as bad as it looked.

Great price if that’s what you think :man_shrugging:

Look it it’s the league, wasn’t excited at HT or disappointed at FT, both sides missing a lot, looked a very bad injury for ROF who was flying, he’ll be a big loss if it’s as bad as it looks

They look well ahead of where they were this time last year.

That O’Flynn injury looked bad. Looked more than ligaments too, sadly. The air support on his ankle when he was being stretchered off does not look promising.

You should have gone

The booing of Cian Lynch will be a stink that should never be allowed leave the Cork supporters.
