Allianz National Hurling League 2023

Serious marker laid down there. It wouldn’t surprise me if Cork go Coast to Coast this year and win the lot

2020 @Thomas_Brady wouldn’t have let them away with that

The spiel at the end about the hurling world rejoicing now because this opens up the upcoming year was OTT. Cork beat Limerick by about 15 points in the league last year and it had absolutely no bearing on championship. They should improve considerably now that Kingston has moved on though.

The celebrating from the Cork fans at the final whistle was very amusing. They were jumping around the place like it was an AIF.

Limerick had all the big guns out tonight, they are in big trouble

Cork won’t beat Kerry hurling with that performance. Kinnerk’s algorithm must have told Limerick not to tog out for the 2nd half.

Hego looked a pale shadow of himself.

Cork up the ante and Limerick had no answer

I thought he was excellent in the first half. Hannon too.

Corks best player O’Flynn going off with a nasty injury was unfortunate.

He’s done

You’d worry for some lads if Cork were to ever win a real match :grinning:

Tis only a bit of pre season pulling and dragging, the league means less than nothing

They did the same when they beat KK in the league last year too. They were cock of the hoop below in Longboats that night

You’d want to tell your own that… Epic scenes at full time.

They love their hurling in Cork

Cork beat them by 9 points last year in the league.

This was huge for Cork. Lads were hugging each other around me.

They actually were

Sure you’d always get a bit excited when you go to a match, no harm
in that. Beating the all Ireland champions after being 8 down and all.

But it’ll mean nothing in a few months

Though I fancy (before tonight) Cork to be Limericks closest challengers this year, beaten Munster and All Ireland finalists
