Even at that, anyone working for the county board shouldnât be sharing personal opinions that might reflect badly on the county board.

The mistake was she thought she was tweeting from her own account. In her role, she had no right to be making any comment on the grounds. As a person, she could feel however she liked about it. But even still, it was a foolish thing to tweet. I suspect sheâs not on social media very long, or if she is, sheâs wiped her account recently enough.
No way if that person is named on a Meath GAA committee should they be making comments like that.
Or perhaps she had an anonymous type twitter account that she meant to use.
Agreed, but as you can see, she was new to the role and I doubt the training was high. As always with these things, they were looking for someone and just handed them the logins. Have a look around at some of the gombeens on committees in the GAA. I wouldnt let half them tie their own shoes.
Indeed. You need only look at the Limerick GAA social media channels after Saturday nightâs game for an example of best practice. Excellently contested game, well done to Cork, best wishes to Robbie OâFlynn after his injury, safe home everybody, see you for next weekâs clash. Classy, understated and professional. Anybody with an involvement slating competitions/rivals/facilities/brand ambassadors online should be reprimanded and ordered to complete a social media course.
Manufactured outrage is the absolute essence of the GAA.
Limerick pay top top dollar for their social media management. Its a game of inches where a grain of rice can tip the scales
Itâs important to keep on message at all times
Ye haunt that chaps dreams.
That camel overcoat is wasted on Dowling when he decides to put it together with that horrific getup.
In the 68th minute Ger Canning announces that Limerick hadnât scored since the 56th minute. OâDalaigh scored the goal in the 64th minute.
Tipp will do well to finish with 15 here.
Thatâs a well taken goal.
Anything good happening in this game is coming from Jason Forde.
The king of league hurling
KK have been septic
Come back Cody, all is forgiven.
Huw Lawlor is some bit of stuff
Cork laying down another marker. Frightening display from them so far
This Lehane lad could really bring Cork on a ton. Going to town today
