Ref blowing for everything but it is a physical tussle in the middle third, both teams working hard. Nice to see a good mix of direct hurling from both sides.
Clare should probably be further ahead but had two scores that probably weren’t but it is a good contest. Adrian Mullen’s movement is causing Leen loads of issues but he is sticking to his task manfully enough. Lohan has been good at midfield, it is hard not to see him starting somewhere from 2 to 9 come championship while Smyth has been a good outlet winning tough ball but needs more service.
David Fitz and Disrmuid Ryan hurling very well while Cleary and Hogan have been solid as well.
Duggan trying to control a puckout with one hand in the hurley rather than making an attempt at catching it is always very baffling
