Allianz National Hurling League 2024

Is there any way of getting a dodgy stream for the BBC iPlayer? The 3pm game is on it. None of this VPN stuff.

Leave it with me.

Ball was like the proverbial bar of soap out there.

Galway completely lost their way when they got the man advantage. They were moving around and moving the ball well up to then… Manky enough day that got worse as the game went on.

GY were extremely lucky to finish with 15, Burkes was borderline the flying elbow to FOCs head was a straight red all day long.

Exactly

Hard oul game that. As I said on the other thread, they may as well just get rid of the handpass rule and make it fair for everyone. It’s defunct.
Galway don’t really have the squad depth to be without Whelan. Was it Casey got a tip on the shoulder and spent 5 minutes holding his faceguard and crying? Don’t like to see it.
Not really too sure about the Galway first team.
Lynch and Morrissey are my two favourite ever non Galway hurlers.
I concur that pearse is a miserable venue.

Dalo’s disdain for the Irish rugby team is something he fails to hide consistently

Missed that second one. That was a red all day long :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

Two clear Reds.

One clear red. The first was a free out for throwing

Never chamge flatty. 2 red, in fairness by the book the red for limerick was correct

A dunt into chest with hurley is a red no matter what the state of play

Ye aren’t worth a fuck mate we would all be better off if the Wexicans take Galways place in the AI series.

I’d give Burke the benefit of the doubt, I don’t think it was intentional. Giving a yellow for Tuohey’s challenge was unforgivable from Tyler Walsh given that he had a perfect view of it and was only a few metres away.

Galway will be happier how they played against 15 than 14. Woejus shooting in the 2nd half. Decent contest all the same. Really was difficult underfoot conditions. Some amount of slipping and sliding.

Why was he holding his face?
Calls the whole thing into question, the Galway lad was naively anticipating a handpass. When the Limerick threw the ball he couldn’t adjust.

Same old same old. Stay with Limerick for a half, and then the professionalism/size/epo& steroids kick in.

Was half expecting him to blow it up as soon as the ball left his hand.

It was very very late from Burke and it definitely could have been a red, but I’d probably just about give him the benefit of the doubt.

Tuohy’s was a blatant red; tbh, it was weird that he didn’t go for it.

I know Limerick made it compact and upped the work rate with 14 but I’d be disappointed with Galway in that sense. Tactically, Shefflin wouldn’t convince you.

Adam English is class.
