They installed a new drainage system the length of Mackey Stand, so had to reseed a nice bit along the sideline. The very wet & cold weather has hindered growth, hence the delay in it being game ready.
Was it because the ground subsided due to damage from a truck?
Burke absolutely went to ‘do’ Casey there and fair play ti him he got away with it.
Inter county player sit Burke’s class don’t miss by that much if they’re going for the ball.
It needs to be consistently over 10 deg for grass to germinate. That’s only happening from now on. So it’s hard to understand what they were hoping for. They should have re-sod it.
It was always very wet there under the stand. Gets no sun at all.
The angle of Hurley on impact says it all
They rolled the dice hoping for weather like last year.
If you were trying to do a fella that would be a quare unusual way to go about it
Thanks
You just don’t get it fella ™.
Was that April that we had real fine but cool enough also. Wind from the east.
For grass to grow you need heat and plenty of rain. If the germinating seed dries out, it’s a gonner.
So March is the best month for seeding a lawn. Temps are up, soil is moist and the grass gets a head start on the weeds. They germinate at higher temperatures to grass.
The GAA will be moved to cork until the fuckers pay the money back
Feb & March were very good last year
The GAA will be moved to cork until the fuckers pay the money back
Hosting this will cost Cork money.
He catches him on the chin and down onto the chest and your man is throwing a taz because he held his face?
It’s actually scandalous.
He should be receiving a retrospective ban for it
It’s a very dirty stroke. Whether it was meant or not is irrelevant, but that should be a red card.
It was yeah
I’ve no skin in the game here. That was an absolutely filthy pull. Late, high and with considerable force. He should have got a red and a 2 match ban along with it
That’s a red for me.
Why couldn’t they do the drainage properly when the pitch was relaid? It was only two years ago?
