Cathal Barrett
Professor Eamon O’Shea
Wee Daniel and Majella
A pair of alright sorts. She’s a splendid foil to his sometimes cagey demeanour.
Steve potato head Bruce
Andy Moran
Alastair cook.

Charlie Redmond. Charlie gave a heart wrenching account of his wife’s battle with cancer on the SO’R show this morning. She was given 18 months in 09/13 and got 3 years. Charlie talked of her Ballinamore’s parents, his 3 girls 13-18 at the time and a few gentle anecdotes of his life with Gráinne.
I might have had reservations about him in the past by he’s dispelled them.
A thoroughly decent and caring guy. Kudos also through his turmoil to Gerry McEntee and David Hickey who provided instant professional supports.
A lot of those Dubs are alright sorts. John O Leary ex Dublin goalie of that vintage got a tough break with his son who needs 24 hour care and does great work with the Jack and Jill foundation. Kieran Duff has had a tough go of it with his daughter as well. One of the best laochra Gael episodes I have seen.
David Cameron
Sean Boylan
Paul McKee, Dublin Bus driver from Strabane, Co.Tyrone.
He won a 4 day trip to Tokyo, 2 tickets to the WRC final plus €1k for porter on the SOR programme this morning. A lot of these winners such as many on the LLS are relatively nonchalant about the win but not the bould Paul.
He was ecstatic and didn’t fail to express it. He thought it was a wind up and initially didn’t quite grasp the magnitude of his good fortune but he cottoned on soon enough. He traverses the Dublin/Cork/Limerick triangle in his job which I thought momentarily he was going to jack-in live on air.
He’s bringing the fiancé on the junket to Japan, a terrible decision but he’ll enjoy himself.
Paul came across as a thoroughly alright sort, good luck to him.
Russell (the Rustler) Murphy.
Gregory McCartan
Was he on the Tyrone bus too?
He was inspired.
Smashing guy.
Good traditional Ulster-Italian values there.
Ah thats lovely. Just lovely.
