The Tories just canāt help themselves, a few quid to feed few kids for a couple of weeks but they couldnāt let it happen
Its astonishing whats going on. Albeit I cant say Iām overly surprised either as I reckon the same shit would happen here. Rashford is doing an incredible job and he is getting a massive groundswell of support from all sorts, the football divide clearly pushed back in support of someone trying to better the lives of the less fortunate.
But the amount of shit he is also getting over it is unbelievable. Tory MPs calling him out for virtue signalling. Middle class people saying he should put his own hand in his pocket because he earns millions. The abuse also levelled at those availing of the food vouchers as beer drinking, fag smoking dole heads with their sky sports subscriptions and if they cant afford to feed their children they shouldnt have had them. Its an increasing thought amongst a lot of people (here and in the UK) and you see it even more pronounced with refugees. The complete and utter lack of empathy and why should they get my hard earned tax.
Fair fucks to Rashford, he is doing a great thing at such a young age and is a fantastic role model for kids to look up to.

Rashford also had a go at learning sign language to help judge a poetry competition earlier in the year. He seems genuinely interested in other peopleās issues / situations.
