The problem is American society has huge mental health issues and access to guns. Its that combination thats lethal. The guns cant be collected now, but the lack of mental health services can be addressed. The rot of their society is where people want their terrible lives to be remembered, to prize fame above all else and figure shooting children is the way to this. How do you fix that? Not mentioning the shooters by name is a start

The third factor is protecting society from these nutcases, something law enforcement are pretty useless at, given the evidence. Why is it that after the fact every one of these nutcases was known to be a violent nutcase?
This lad was regarded by the school as such a threat that not alone was he expelled, he was banned from the school and employees at the school were warned to watch for him carrying a backpack. Why the fuck werenāt the local police keeping an eye on him, let alone how someone like that can legally buy a firearm.
The FBI were warned about this guy and couldnāt locate him, even though his you tube profile had his own fucking name. How hard is it these days to track down someone from their social media presence?
Not true it costs a fortune over 20k and takes the ATF up to a year to grant a permit and license but with enough cash and a clean record fully automatic weapons can be purchased in the US in plenty of states
