Get the last bus the night before. Have a few sleepers in @Lazarus spot and have a kip upstairs.
Give Scooter the 6 litre Jag and let him plough in the road.
The consistency of buses in Ireland is an issue. Also overcrowding. My Mrs gets a bus to work and she starts at 9. In summer, no issues. Arrives on time and she’s in town by 8:30. Two different routes go by our place and both are scheduled for same time, nothing earlier. Now that college is back, it’s a game of roulette. One bus came Friday and was full so kept going. Got the other one but arrived to bus station at 8:59, half hour behind schedule
Was thinking if getting him one of these
But it’s not quite fast enough to be safe in some ways.
Have you changed your mind since then?
Yep, if the bus is full the driver won’t stop apparently. That could be a problem. As it is he’s either late, or my sister has to drive him in.
He also has to leave early to get the only bus he can get home, and then he has a mile if a walk up a dark road (good for him, but not if you’re elderly)
I can’t find my earlier post about how hopper should get commute mate.
This is reflecting very poorly on @glasagusban for his narrow worldview and @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy for refusing to have extra buses put on.
Sounds like the bus is there but that there isn’t enough bus lanes to avoid the infamous Galway City traffic.
Didn’t someone try to build a ring road to help with that?
Yup
I doubt it says Croker…
They built a big industrial estate in Galway City fairly recently called Parkmore East & West. Within the last 10 years or so. On an old country road. No bus lanes servicing it. Some joke…
Look at all the extra traffic being accommodated in the second pic.
Oh she’s such a hoot. Classic
Dr Conor looks like a fella who has a vein popping out the side of his head…
I think he covered for Deirdre McMahon when she took a sabbatical.
