Would you not check your tyres regulalry?
I would every month, but I think it could be recommended to do it even more regularly

one front left, one rear right.
Youd notice it in the steering fairly quickly.
I would glance at them, maybe feel them manually but wouldn’t necessarily check their actual pressure.
Id a blowout on the motorway to Galway a couple of years ago, back tyre blew out but I was goin in a straight line so it wasn’t a big deal.
Not guilty
Not Guilty.
The lads wanting her hung from a lamp post for not checking her tyre pressure will be disgusted.
Another bad day for a lot of lads who think a prosecution = a guilty verdict.
Now can we talk about how we raise our girls etc etc
When is the protest starting.
#IBelieveHer.
The three girls in the back seat were each wearing seat belts. All took due care yet still lost their lives unfortunately.
We saw the worst of TFK here
You were lucky, pal.
I’d a blowout on a rear tyre doing 120km on the motorway, I was overtaking a lorry. Car never swayed but there was some bang. I went weak when I pulled over & saw the tyre.
If it was a front LHS tyre fucks knows how the story would have ended.
I learned a fair lesson about checking tyres of cars before sitting in.
You’re some fucking idiot.
You’re entirely correct. Sure everybody does a full walk around their car before sitting in.
I’ll take that with a pinch of salt considering you’ve admitted you wouldn’t notice any difference with a wheel low on pressure.
I had an involvement in a court case for a fatal car crash earlier this year.
The relevant law changed last year following an appeal though high court and supreme court. It has to be proven that the prosecuted driver was guilty of committing an offence rather than simply unlucky on the road. It appears that prior to this the driver could be guilty on the basis of result without being proven to have actually committed an offence of driving or not maintaining the car.
It was a collision between two cars on a straight stretch of road 100 yards from a bend. One car veered perhaps a foot or more over the line and clipped the other car. The road was 6 feet above the field and there was no ditch or barrier to stop the when it was driven sideways. Driver suffered neck and head injuries as the car went down.
It was a clear summer day. Good visibility and road conditions. Both cars in good condition, valid NCT as well. Both had full clean licences. Neither speeding or taking risks per witnesses. Neither had used their phone. Both wearing seat belts. No passengers in either car.
Most likely one driver had a lapse in concentration and drifted a foot over the line with fatal consequences.
He was found not guilty by direction of the judge.
My issue here is that this lass was criminally negligent driving unaccompanied. If she hadn’t broken the law, this would never have happened. In the UK she would almost certainly be jailed I suspect. The condition of the car on the day is irrelevant. Both she and the car were illegally on the road.
Don’t know about that, unless it would be non-jury in the UK? A young girl who is after losing four of her friends is as sympathetic an accused as you’ll ever have.
The poor bitch has suffered enough. A jail sentence is hardly going to solve anything.
