Went into Dunnes to do the shopping tonight. Mother of God. It was bedlam. Queues the full length of the aisles.

Left Aldi last week with the trolley overflowing, €200. Went to Dunnes to get the “last few bits”, trolley half empty, €198.

Went down to Carrefour earlier on to get the carp. They don’t kill them on the spot any more, pre killed. Not the same.

Claire from swimming went to the Trafford centre last night thinking it would be quiet. She’s been having a bit of a hard time of it recently anyway, but she said it was so absolutely rammed that she went into the only quiet place she could find, which was the bedding section in John Lewis, had a cry, and went home.
