Not a bit early flatty? Thetes three or four in our estate with the tree up but we’re waiting until the weekend

Big debate in our house; this weekend seems too early, weekend after too late. I’m travelling next week so told her to knock herself out when I’m gone*

*hope she doesn’t, love going and picking out the tree with the family. Ben and Jerry have further to go carrying it home, it’ll build character for them.

We’ll put it up this weekend.

I love when the tree goes up

You’re at nothing if you dont have it up by they Toy Show.

Herself threw it altogether there middle of last week once I’d gone into the attic to get it all down.

You’d be at nothing watching the Toy Show with no tree up ffs

When I was a nipper, it was never up before the 8th

Them days are long gone. The Elf landed there a the weekend.

The Sunday closest December 8th is the optimum date to put up the Christmas Tree.

Time enough 23rd Dec. There’s 12 days to Christmas officially beginning 25th Dec. Anyone putting up a tree or decorations before this date are just slaves to the Americanised commercial ‘‘happy holidays’’ jive.

Heard on the radio last week that Argos are selling half a christmas tree this year. it will fit snugly up against the wall in a small room.

Around the 18/19th is the optimum. A day or two after New Years and then Whooosh!!!

We’d usually put it up around the middle of December, I think it’s a bit odd to have it up with a month to go but live and let live

Calendar has to read December.

Us too. She just couldn’t wait.
