Someone above cancelling plans because of a Covid test did they test themselves for the ‘flu test’ also. Cant believe people are still riding that charade. However similarly in absolutely cracking news an in law I cant stand has tested positive also and is staying at home for 2 weeks. God bless Covid.

Fire was my second option.
I’m very sorry but I’m completely out of the loop here. I haven’t bumped the “I’m going into town now” thread in ages, even though I went into town last Saturday. But that wasn’t for shopping, all my shopping has been done online in a sustainable and green friendly manner. Thank you for the Harry’s on the Green walk-in option for food btw @Spidey. It did the job.

My mother always goes to huge effort making Christmas Puddings for all of the extended family but give me a sponge cake or chocolate cake over a pudding and custard combo any day of the week. What kind of Christmas Cakes are you referring to here?
Are you shopping for males or females mainly? You’ll have to splash big bucks in Kildare Village. There aren’t too many bargains up there. The Tommy Hilfiger shop has some lovely t-shirts to fill a void for a male. Pair of Nike runners would be a unisex present. Sweaty Betty leggings are very popular with the fairer sex these days. Gym and Coffee another noble option. I recently acquired a lovely hoodie there myself.
