Boris has been hiding, donāt kid yourself. Heās a fraud whoād rather scower in the background than face the people and the real issues. Even Hancock came out from the virus and steadied the ship to a degree. Actually putting Boris and āgood tasteā in the same bracket betrays your prejudice

Johnson looked very poorly in his most recent recorded address/update to the nation from home. His skin was pasty and he was awfully sweaty around the face and forehead. I was immediately reminded of Gwyneth Paltrowās character in Contagion.

I actually think a better attack line here is why they were playing so fast and loose with coming out from isolation when diagnosed.
And also how truthful Downing Street have been on the extent of Johnsonās illness.

It wonāt matter to the likes of @balbec they lap it up every time Boris and co lie , love is blind and all that. The serious issues for the UK remain however. Within one hour of the Queen making a great speech, one of only 5 she has made since the year 1940, the Scottish chief medic had resigned and their PM was in hospital. You donāt need to be a doctor to know that is not a good prognosis

Well that should be the main reason for him going to hospital in the circumstances

Word is thereās a couple of hospitals in Liverpool saying they would give him priority treatment

Iād assume that just one of their lies given that he is supposedly there for precautionary tests and will be out tomorrow. I get the whole lying thing from them but if he was on a ventilator at this stage this would likely be breaking quite a few conventions there in the practice or government.
Sputnik is well known as disinformation, but on the other hand, Russia does have very highly placed sources inside the UK governmentā¦
Lucky he has the covid19 where you get admitted to hospital for tests so and not the kind where you get admitted for treatment.

Spencer Perceval was assassinated while in office back in the early 19th century. Heās the only Prime Minister to meet that particular fate. Not sure whether any of the earlier incumbents died from illness while in office.
