The House of Representatives refused to back Trump’s spending plan for his “wall”, the courts blocked his travel ban. That’s the way the US system works, checks and balances.

It’s also fascinating that leftists see Russia as the largest threat to democracy and freedom, even though they worshiped the USSR when it was communist. The stickies and “Workers Party” in Ireland were great pals of the USSR.

China is by far the greatest threat to world democracy and freedom, a country where hundreds of thousands of Muslims are in “re education” camps, anyone expressing dissent is imprisoned or shot or ran over by tanks, no press other than government press is allowed, the internet is censured, etc.
