Arthur's Day

1759 not 1859

guiness is sellling less draught stout, beer and lager every year (same for heineken and others). they need to market.

presume this is down to the arse falling out of the pub industry…Would also presume that it is Heineken Ireland you are referring to as well

draught has been declining for years, 5% to 10% a year. Off sales remain strong and volumes holds up there. Heineken Ireland & Diageo own the beer marker for draught and casepack. Only competition is bulmers.

Arthurs day RIP/FOAD

Sad news. I quite enjoyed the free pints.:frowning:

Will much change really? Theres going to be this Guinness Amplify thing now instead, this probably works out cheaper for Guinness and its now over a few days. A rose by any other name…

What if it’s called a Stench Blossom? Or a Crapweed?

I’d rather have candy.

Will there still be free pints on the go?

Thank fuck that cunt of a day is gone. Now if only Diageo would fuck off with it and take their watery pissy stout with them…

Victory for Christy Moore.

No more “To Arthur” shite. A good day.

It was dome load of shite.

How will we commemorate the day diageo drove all the competition out of Ireland now?

A month long celebration instead of a day, thats how :pint:

Thank fuck this sham has been ended.
