Disgraceful refereeing.
That’s a clear free you fucking dick.
I am quite encouraged by that first half. Good display overall.
Pjanic and Osvaldo need to get more involved, Taddei has been a major problem for us. After initial fears, I am happy with the system we’ve played and I think De Rossi has been outstanding.
What an opening for Osvaldo.
Jesus, I thought Pjanic could have attacked that cross for a simple header. Another lovely set up by Totti for Osvaldo before that.
A lovely touch from Totti to Pjanic.
How is that not a foul on Kjaer? Fuck sake.
Think I’d get Gago on for Pjanic.
Referee is a cunt and is obviously on Moratti’s payroll.
Hope Lamela gets a few minutes tonight.
That’s a bizarre change from Gasperini, Muntari for Forlan while you’re drawing 0-0 at home.
Not sure how good that first clearance from Kjaer was but the block was excellent.
Great defending by Kjaer. Inter applying some late pressure. Would be happy with a point.
Daniele taking Sneijder’s full body weight on the baby maker. He has been immense tonight, his best performance in a Roma jersey in years.
+1 Totti. Daniele has been sensational tonight. Taddei has gone missing for the last 5 minutes.
Good, battling display. Well played Roma.
A very spirited display and a good result.
We defended resolutely, Kjaer had an excellent game, De Rossi was outstanding tonight. Bringing Borriello on for Borini saw us lose our threat in attack. Osvaldo looked more promising in the second half, seemed to have the beating of Lucio in the air and was harshly judged on a couple of occasions. Bit disappointed in Pjanic tonight, he was sloppy with the ball and needs to be braver in the tackle. Pizarro was excellent in his 60 minutes. We’ll have Angel back next week, hopefully Cicinho too.
Would like to see us line out as:
------------------------------Stekelenburg-------------------------------
--------------Kjaer---------------------------------Burdisso------------
Cicinho------------------------De Rossi-------------------------Angel
-------------------Pizarro---------------------Pjanic--------------------
----------------------------------Totti-------------------------------------
-------------Borini--------------------------------Osvaldo--------------
New Roma stadium planned for 2014

Roma’s new board of directors have plans in place to build a new stadium for the club, with a meeting with the mayor of Rome on Wednesday having resulted in an agreement on a three-year timescale for the project.
The capital side’s new president Thomas DiBenedetto has been keen on moving the club away from the Stadio Olimpico since showing his dissatisfaction with the distance between the stands and the playing surface when he first visited the arena earlier this year.
And now that he owns the club outright, he is moving quickly on putting together a blueprint on a new home for the three-times Italian champions.
Having met with mayor Gianni Alemanno at Campidoglio, it has been agreed that 2014 is a realistic completion date for the project, according to Calciomercato.com.
This accounts for 12 months of planning, administration, and the acquisition of a suitable site, plus two years for the building of the stadium.
“It will be an arena that opponents will fear,” boasted Alemanno after the meeting with DiBenedetto.
There have been five potential venues earmarked by the Roma board, with talks with possible building partners already at an advanced stage. Mark Pannes, the manager of Raptor Fund, the group owned by board member James Pallotta, is expected to be handed the responsibility of finalising the construction deal.
Former Roma president Rosella Sensi had announced two years ago plans to move to a new ‘Stadio Franco Sensi’ in the Valle Aurelia area of the city, but the club’s huge debts at the time put paid to those hopes.
Juventus recently moved into the new 42,000-seater Juventus Arena, becoming the first Serie A club to own their own stadium and Roma look set to beat the likes of Palermo and Cagliari to become the second outfit to leave their council-owned home ground.
Magnificent news.
What will become of the Olimpico?
Suppose it will just be populated by the eagle scum every second weekend.
