The Fiorentina chairman has said that Montolivo turned down a €10m move to us in the summer, I assume he was our first choice as oppossed to Pjanic.
He won’t be signing a new contract at Fiorentina so I think he’ll be off to Milan, either in January, or most likely next Summer on a free.
