That’s a crushing blow. I’d like to see Pjanic pushed forward a bit to take up Totti’s role with Perrotta/Pizarro/Gago coming in. Think Simplicio played well against Atalanta and deserves to be retained, would like to see Kjaer start as Cisse and Klose have an athletic and physical presence.

Absolutely woeful defending by Heinze, strolling forward and playing a Caldwellesque ball to the Genoa man who in turned play Palacio through who squared it to Jankovic and it was dispatched to the corner of the net. Stekelenburg no chance.
