Benatia has an interview in the Gazzetta today which he claims that he doesn’t want to leave but when he joined last yera he signed for less money than he should have but signed as he liked the project. Club promised him better terms if they secured Champions League football but it seems that they have reneged on this.
Says he would have no problem staying if the board keep their word but looks as though there is a stand off and a strong possibility that he will be sold this sumer

Tomorrow’s Gazzetta running a Benatia to Manchester City story.
The Daily Express are linking him with a move to Chelsea today, with Lukaku coming the other way

I have always been a fan of Ashley and for me he has been the best English player of the last 15 years in terms of consistency and performances in big games/tournaments. I think it is a solid signing and I hope it works out well for all involved

We are also in for Vlad Chiriches who we were heavily linked with last summer before he went to Spurs
