They lost to Rennes.
I’m emboldened by that performance.
They also lost to Napoli the other day, but my point stands.
forza Lazio.
Just looking at it there, Lazio would seem to be the club with the history and tradition in Rome, founded in 1900. Roma were only founded in 1927.
It seems that the footix identify with a club with deep Fascist connections.
We’ve also announced three signings this week.
Carles Perez - €1m loan with €12m obligation to buy at the end of next season. He’s a 21 year old right winger, don’t know a lot about him but he played in the CL game against Inter and was impressive on the night and scored. He must not be too highly thought of at Barca do if they are letting him go for such a modes fee considering their current issues.
Next up is Guilermo Villar, a Spanish u21 midfielder. He had been playing in the Segunda Division with Elche. Diawara could be out for a while now so he could see game time, think he is more of an attacking midfielder though and we are already well overstocked in that regard. €5m fee for him.
Roger Ibanez was announced on Monday, he’s a 21 year old Brazilian centre half we have signed from Atalanta on an 18 month loan with an obligation to buy in 2021. He hasn’t played much for them and seems more squad filler.
Perez is the one who looks like he could make an immediate impact given the injury to Zaniolo. Under has been out of form and out of favour with Fonseca this season but was outstanding at the weekend but we have a natural alternative there now.
Barcelona probably have a buy back clause here for pitons. It’s a tactic of a lot of Spanish clubs.
No buy back option.
3-0 down. Down to 10 men and we’ve brought it back to 3-2.
Keep going guys
4-2
Well fuck it.
Smalling you pillock.
A good spell of pressure yields a goal, Denswil turning into his net from a Kolarov cross.
Deflected strike from Barrow puts Bologna back in the lead.
Should have been 3. Smalling is a car crash.
Roma booed off at half time.
Unbelievable save from Lopez.
Dzeko!!!
