It’s frustrating. A lot of good was done but a lot of people were left behind and PIS have quite simply bought them. Coupled with an unholy alliance with a very reactionary Catholic Church who are sticking their nose into politics. PIS are a mixture of true believers still fighting WWII and cynics who have aligned themselves to them and are robbing the country blind.
