I cant believe you made a reference to Cho Seung-Hui in that article. Its still a bit fresh.
Quality report Bandage. I’ll comment more on my return from lunch.
As I said excellent report Bandage - touched on the despair of last night but ends on a note of defiance. In spite of Farmer we will win this championship. We owe it to ourselves but the work starts now.
To that end I’m opening up the following suggestions:
We need a stuctured formation. Nothing that’s so rigid that prevents us from tracking runners but we need to have someone prepared to stay up front. We started with a system last night but when we started making changes everyone just followed the ball.
There were too many subs and changes last night. When you’re on the pitch you’re constantly thinking about maybe coming off so someone else gets a chance. Then when you get on you’re not ready. There are a couple of ways of solving this:
Don’t see your point - there’s already a separate thread about the lad where people have been making references to him since yesterday.
rocko, interesting points. My clique (with clarkey and jugs) also made the point that they actually had more of an advantage in only having six players and we had too many with, as you say, people just coming on and running after the ball. 8 last week seemed like the optimum amount so food for thought.
Maybe the other lads can give their views here too.
I think I’m heading off to Herbert Park to stretch my knee and have a perv now so I’ll check back in later.
