I vaguely recall @caoimhaoin confirming the presence of Hawking radiation on AFR back in 2004. Think he saw it in the queue for Henry’s one night in 1993, or knew a fella who saw it.

There was a very good thing on Newstalk the other day. Do they have a science show or something? It wasn’t in the main program stuff anyway either late at night or a Sunday. This fella was on explaining quantum physics and it was savage interesting altogether. I’ll see can I find it
That was easy enough. A very interesting 20 minutes if you want someone to explain quantum physics in a way you might understand

The Quantum physicists don’t even know themselves.
They are hoping to build a quantum computer powerful enough in the next few years that’ll basically be able to tell the scientists whether alternate universes exist
How long do humans have left as the dominant species on the planet? - or will we just evolve into cyborgs?
It took 5 petabytes of data to get that image. That’s 5 million gigs. You’d want a serious broadband package for that
