Things can only move so fast in space . How do we reach planets 2 light years away is the question.
He should stick to the cycling
Switch off the lights
Or use a jet-ski.
We can’t as there are none, the nearest one is 4.25 light years away.
The nearest planets (that we know of) that could sustain life (as we know it) are 40 light years away.
Aliens will have to come to our world and show us how to get from a to b quicker. Do they want to show us tho . Would we show them .
The closest point of exit out of the Milky Way is 500 light years. It would take the space shuttle 37,000 years to travel one light year. Shows how insignificant we are in all reality
Or significant
I’d like to think there are worm holes or some channels that allows us to travel in . We won’t be worrying about it but they should be really sending up millions of tiny satellites that release hundreds of these little sensors when they find something like that .
Speak for yourself
Would you ever think that our entire galaxy could just be similar to a tiny spec of dirt on some sort of larger planet?
It’ll end up one way tickets with laboratories, food growing, and water producing etc etc on board and that’s just Mars, we can forget about anything any further for decades
By then Cork might have a Liam mac in the bag, and a few Sam’s
Think we need to forget about mars too big an operation to set up shop there . We need to develop Artificial intelligence who can make these long journeys and when they arrive make humans
It’s definitely going to happen it’s just a matter of waiting, I mean my nsna in Blackrock died in the 80s and genuinely couldn’t comprehend or believe we’d a guy walking on the moon etc, it’ll have to be a mixture of private individual / government who funds, as we can see the Tesla chap put his money where his mouth is
Our entire galaxy is only a circuit board in some computer simulation
A trainee guard and a painter discussing human expansion into the galaxy. Only on TFK.
Who really knows, tbh I hope something like this happens before I pop my clogs, love Sci fi etc and it would be outstanding to see proper space travel in the near future
